What we put on our hair absorbs into our body. With normal shampoos & hair products that we buy in the store, most contain, among other chemicals- the nasty Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS).

SLS is a cheap ingredient and foams great - giving us that lather we want and "sqeaky" clean feel because it literally strips off everything from our hair. Residual SLS is also left behind to build up and can damage and even permanently kill off hair follicles.

Shampoos and other hair care with Organic Ingredients is nice but the main thing to ensure is that whatever you use - is "chemical free"! Stay away from SLS and while it may take you a bit longer to get used to a natural (chemical free) shampoo - your hair & your body will love you for it!
