Piggy Paint Non Toxic Nail Polish

Piggy Paint was once one of the leading brands on non-toxic nail polish, but after a formula change in early 2011, Piggy Paint could no longer claim to be non-toxic. They added a chemical presevative called Neolone 950, or Methylisothiazolinone (MIT), to their formula. "Piggy Paint does contain chemicals and is not non-toxic as they claim."

MIT causes skin reactions and has shown in some cases to be harmful to mammalian cells.

As a result of this change and as part of our commitment to you, Natural e GREEN no longer carries the newer Piggy Paint. The few bottles we have left are the last of the original formula without the MIT. Once they are gone, they will not be replaced. We are replacing our Piggy Paint line with Hopscotch Kids - a safer and nicer polish that is sure to impress!
